Controller

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Management: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular variance analysis to keep the company on track. Internal Controls: Design, implement, and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy. Treasury & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow forecasting, debt management, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity. Compliance & Tax: Coordinate all audit activities and ensure timely filing of local, state, and federal taxes. Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the accounting team (AP, AR, Payroll), fostering a culture of professional growth and precision. Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounting tech stack (ERP, automated expense management, etc.). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
