About the job Driver Helper
Location: Fords, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-3pm
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading frozen meat products.
- Deliver products to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- Lift, carry, and move products weighing 40-50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Verify deliveries and assist with order accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas.
- Follow company safety procedures and delivery protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Perform other warehouse and delivery-related duties as assigned.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 40-50 pounds .
- Ability to work in a cold environment handling frozen meat products .
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday.
- Previous delivery, warehouse, or driver helper experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Cold warehouse and refrigerated truck environment.
- Regular handling of frozen meat products.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and standing.
