Location 23 Kelley St.,Edgartown, MA, 02539,United States Base Pay $10.00 / Hour Employee Type Seasonal, Full-Time The Barback is an integral part of the Front of House team, and plays a crucial role in the success of the bars and bartenders PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Restock and replenish bar inventory (spirits, wine, beer, glassware, garnishes, etc.) Assist with daily juicing of fresh ingredients and batching cocktails according to prep sheets Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout service Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar before and after shifts Remove trash, clean spills, and support bussing efforts as needed Maintain a friendly, helpful rapport with guests and assist when appropriate Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Help with receiving and storing bar deliveries Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Previous barback or restaurant experience preferred Comfort with light prep work (juicing, batching, portioning, etc.) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods A positive, team-oriented attitude Reliable and punctual Must be of legal age to handle alcohol per local/state regulations Basic comprehension of the English language (written and verbal) Summary Established in January 2025, Collared Martin Hospitality operates the Faraway brand, along with a collection of independent lifestyle & luxury boutique hotels, restaurants, and cocktail clubs.
