Manager, Workday Engineering (Integrations)

Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and delivery of Workday solutions and integrations aligned with enterprise architecture. Develop, coach, and lead Workday Engineering professionals to sustain excellence in individual and team performance. Staff teams and maintain high performance through effective interviewing, goal setting, performance evaluation, coaching, and mentoring. Promote a positive culture of personal growth, identify training needs, and design employee development plans and career paths. Guide and define Workday engineering strategy, architecture, and development standards; champion Workday architecture patterns, scalability, security, and performance best practices. Lead and mentor Workday engineers and architects, fostering technical growth and collaboration. Collaborate with product owners, business, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust Workday solutions. Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements. Partner with enterprise leaders to align Workday initiatives with organizational goals. Participate in roadmap planning and governance processes for Workday systems. Evaluate emerging Workday features and technologies for adoption. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in ComputerScience or a related field. 10+ years of enterprise application development experience, with at least four years in Workday engineering or architecture. Proven leadership experience managing technical teams. Experience in Workday HCM/Finance configuration, integration, and security. Demonstrated excellence in servant leadership, empowering teams to achieve their highest potential. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business language. Strong background in modern software development methodologies, lifecycle management, and business acumen across HCM, benefits, payroll, recruiting, time tracking, and compensation domains. Hands‑on experience with Workday integration and implementation tools such as EIB, Studio, Report Writer, and iLoad. Proficiency in designing and consuming Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST) and familiarity with RaaS, Workday Studio, Orchestrate Builder, and Workday Extend. Experience with advanced reporting and analytics tools (Workday Prism, Reporting, BIRT) is highly desirable.
