JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities Applies and supports the development of processes such as Design Review, Virtual Review, and tools such as iDFMEA, tolerance stack-up, etc. Conducts cross-functional reviews for components on its own, and seeks guidance from experts and program team members as required. 3D CAD modeling for major casting components and other engine components like plumbing, sheet metal brackets, etc. Creating and checking 2D drawings. Apply GD&T and design for manufacturing/service/assembly. Develop engineering releases as per component requirements for the respective design phase. Support on the engine build with proposed BOM (Review BOM and verify it during engine build). Support part movement during the engine builds, validation, testing, etc. Capable to handle ETLA and Product tailoring components/system TLA. Investigates product problems & recommends appropriate actions. Support problem resolution and document results with guidance from more experienced team members. Obtains input from stakeholders such as technical managers, project leaders, other product and manufacturing engineers, and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to quality product decisions. Applies academic knowledge and existing experience to act and make decisions that progress projects forward without sacrificing project quality expectations. Support product design, development, and validation process from concept to final release in the PLM system. Skills Required Background of working in CREO 2.0 on engine components like plumbing, sheet metal parts, casting, etc. Knowledge of product lifecycle. Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly. MCM knowledge is preferred. Basic knowledge of engine component’s function is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Konnect Consulting LLC.
