ResponsibilitiesAcadia is seeking a motivated PHOTOGRAMMETRIST / GEOINT IMAGERY ANALYST to support product evaluations, quality studies, and new product initializations. and assessments of GEOINT sensor and system performance.The specific tasks and activities to be performed include, but are not limited to:Sensor modeling; decomposing product formation elements to quantify the overall quality of the image chainPerforming geolocation and mensuration accuracy assessmentsModeling the geometric collection process to trace the exact location of a point on the ground to the corresponding pixel location on an imageApplying GEOINT imagery analysis and exploitation techniques to support product evaluation, quality assessment, and engineering analysis activitiesSupporting assessment projects related to the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)Performing baseline assessments of system performance to support sensor initializationConducting operational monitoring of system performance over timeAnalyzing imagery and system performance data to identify errors, anomalies, or degradationResponding to detected errors by recommending possible causes and corrective actionsApplying knowledge of imagery exploitation, targeting, geolocation, mensuration, sensor characteristics, and photogrammetric principles to support technical assessments Location: This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
