Project Manager

Your Role Project Manager at our Waukesha, WI office. The PM oversees equipment design, coordinates approval of submittals, schedules production, handles installation issues, and manages scope, schedule, and cost to deliver the project on time and within budget. Essential Duties / Principal Responsibilities Review project documents, including contracts, plans, specifications, and related documentation to tailor deliverables. Serve as the main point of contact for customers, consultants, suppliers, representatives, and colleagues. Review technical design and layout. Prepare data packages, submittals, and fabrication drawings. Review all electrical, mechanical, civil aspects with appropriate staff. Document and communicate deviations to the contract in submittals. Release equipment upon customer approval to appropriate parties. Ensure compliance with project schedules. Interface with Operations staff for supply‑chain deadlines. Coordinate scope, work, and pricing with vendors and suppliers. Prepare schedule of values for billing. Coordinate installation and commissioning services. Issue warranty letter and track warranty periods; notify accounting/finance of start and end dates. Travel to project sites, supplier factories, and technical conferences as required. Maintain understanding of core process and control systems. Additional Responsibilities Assist with product research and development as required. Participate and lead special projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Business Degree from an accredited institution. 2-10 years of engineering experience; ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills for internal and external customer service. Self-starter with ability to work effectively in a team. Professional Engineer and/or Project Management (PMI) certifications preferred. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Physical Demands Occasional exposure to shop and field elements. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Ability to travel by plane and car. Work Environment Office: Administrative – computer, telephone usage, basic office equipment. Occasional exposure to shop and field elements at municipal and industrial water and wastewater facilities. Estimated salary range: $105,000-$120,000 plus bonus.
