Construction Safety Associate Location: New Albany, OH About The Role Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Safety Associate . The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing health and safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards. We are looking for a self-directed, detail-oriented safety professional with excellent communication and computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment. Job Description Develop improve the technical facilitation of the Project EH&S Program. Provide the necessary project management, supervisory or craft training, on-boarding/new hire safety orientation, or other job/task-specific EH&S related training, as necessary to ensure compliance with the site EH&S Program requirements, against a given contractor scope of work. Coordinate and conduct routine/scheduled safety meetings, which include relevant site/facility topical information, comprehensive agendas, captured minutes/actions, and accurate attendance records. Conduct daily informal site EH&S general site assessments or specific formal audit-type inspections while capturing and maintaining the appropriate written finding and close-out documentation. Conduct site safety/health, property or process loss, Root-Cause style investigations along with the necessary customer or company required reports. Minimum Qualifications 2 years college A.S. degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related engineering field. OSHA 30, 500/510, 501/511 Construction/General Industry Certifications. BCSP Certifications - CHST, SSHO, etc. or other mid-level safety certifications, (NCCER Field Safety/Safety Technology Training Certifications - CSSS, CSST, CSSM). Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, common data/safety-based software such as Procore, Hammertech, etc. 10 or more years of direct field safety experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc.
