Job description: This is a pure new-business hunter role focused on driving growth within the industrial chemical solutions space, with a strong emphasis on paint pre-treatment and surface treatment applications.The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities - primarily large, complex deals (typically $150K+), often at a corporate or multi-site manufacturing level.This is a newly structured position where the Business Development Manager does not inherit existing accounts. Instead, this individual is responsible for building a robust pipeline (targeting ~$4M) and closing new business (annual quota of ~$500K+).Once business is secured, accounts are transitioned to Account Managers after approximately 12 months, allowing continued focus on new opportunity development and pipeline growth.There is no fixed territory.
