Workplace Experience Manager

About the role: The Workplace Experience Manager is responsible for delivering a safe, efficient, responsive and high‑quality workplace experience across office environments. The role supports daily workplace operations, space planning, employee services, vendor coordination, access control and workplace programs that enable business continuity and employee productivity. What you'll do: Space Planning & Moves/Adds/Changes Coordinate office space planning, seating assignments and occupancy tracking to support business needs and organizational growth. Manages employee moves, adds and changes, including workstation setup, furniture coordination, IT coordination and move logistics. Maintain floor plans, seating charts and space utilization information to support planning decisions. Partner with HR, IT, Facilities and business leaders to ensure workspace assignments align with team requirements and onboarding needs. Support office restacks, departmental relocations and workplace improvement projects. Laboratory Space Layout Coordination Assist with lab space layout coordination in partnership with Facilities, EHS, Scientific Operations and research teams. Support placement of laboratory furniture, equipment, benches and storage needs while considering workflow, safety and operational requirements. Coordinate communication between lab users, vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders during lab modifications or space changes. Maintain awareness of lab occupancy, shared spaces and evolving operational needs. Workplace Operations, Janitorial, Supplies & Food Services Oversee day‑to‑day workplace services including janitorial support, office supplies, pantry supplies, snacks, beverages and food deliveries. Manage inventory levels and replenishment processes for workplace consumables and employee support items. Monitor service quality, address issues promptly and ensure workplace areas remain clean, organized and well‑stocked. Support vendor relationships, service expectations and issue resolution for workplace service providers Conference Setup, Parking & Employee Support Coordinate conference room readiness, meeting setups, visitor support and special event logistics. Support parking coordination, employee parking questions and related workplace logistics. Serve as a key point of contact for workplace‑related employee requests and service needs. Assist with new hire workplace onboarding, including workstation readiness, badge coordination and employee support resources. Promote a professional, welcoming and service‑oriented workplace environment. Security Access, Badge Administration, & Systems Support Administer access badges for employees, contractors and visitors, including badge issuance, updates, audits and deactivations. Coordinate access permissions and system updates in partnership with Facilities, Security, HR and IT. Maintain accurate access control records and support periodic reviews of badge activity and access levels. Support workplace security procedures, emergency preparedness activities and business continuity requirements. Ergonomics & Workplace Health Support Coordinate ergonomic assessments, workstation reviews and follow‑up actions for employees. Facilitate ergonomic equipment requests and workplace adjustments in collaboration with HR, Facilities and applicable vendors. Track ergonomic requests to ensure timely response and completion. Promote safe, comfortable and productive workstation standards. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. People management & leadership experience is preferred, including recruitment, training, development, mentoring, and appraising. Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate the team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. Why CBRE? The minimum salary for the Workplace Manager position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Workplace Manager position is $104,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
