This role requires business acumen along with technical skills to develop and document sales processes that support corporate initiatives. In this role, your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, designing and maintaining the business application, configuring, conducting systems testing, and supporting the end-user experience. You will be responsible for general ongoing system administration, on-going enhancement development, as well as building/implementing reports & dashboards that support a global implementation. The position will be joining a team that is responsible for creating an end-user experience that creates value and is seen as a productive tool which is fully adopted. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.Key ResponsibilitiesServing as a system administrator for the Salesforce.com environmentSignificantly contributing to overall Salesforce design, roadmap, project management, and business requirementsPartners with the Global Sales Team to assist with data integrity efforts to maximize the organization’s ability to make appropriate business decisionsBeing a go-to person for the Salesforce platform – assisting users in understanding platform, using tools efficiently, and conflict resolutionReviewing Salesforce release notes for current platform impact and necessary implementation needs to stay supported by SalesforceAct as a training resource for new hires across the global sales organizations and sales systemsWorking with Banner management and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirementsMaintaining our Sale Systems Team Jira board to align work with business needs and timelineDeveloping user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Banner’s Salesforce solution and integrations with other Banner systems with SalesforceWorking collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet our business requirements and fulfill user storiesContribute to integration projects as needed to support functionality collaborating with IT and Data quality groupsCompleting the configuration to support user stories within Salesforce, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Manufacturing Cloud, and embedding Business Intelligence (BI) reportingContribute to the creation of all necessary system and process documentation required for system maintenance and user trainingProviding day-to-day support of Salesforce user requestsProviding and developing ad-hoc and ongoing reporting and dashboardsManaging general and security settings for new and current usersCollaborating with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirementsStaying up to date with new Salesforce features and functionalityOther duties as assignedWhat You Bring to the Table To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and regular attendance is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to support individuals with disabilities.RequiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related industry experienceDemonstrated experience in a similar role supporting Salesforce.com or a competitive CRM platform1-3 years of experience in SalesforceCurrent certification as a Salesforce Certified Platform AdministratorAble to obtain various Salesforce certificationsExperience defining and supporting system integrationsExpert skills in identifying and capturing business requirementsStrong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologiesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong team player with the ability to work effectively with end-users and colleagues domestically and internationallyStrong analytical skills with proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with the ability to work and drive tasks independentlyExperience with technical project management and team coordinationExperience with the MS Office Suite; strong understanding of Excel preferredWell-organized, efficient, proactive, self-motivated, and results driven with the ability to deliver quality and timely resultsPreferredPrevious experience in a manufacturing fieldExperience with additional Salesforce packages and add-ons, including but not limited to Conga, Ironclad, Roll-up Helper, Salesforce Maps, Advanced Approvals, etcHands-on experience in Salesforce development, with knowledge in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning frameworks, and Salesforce APIs.Familiarity with third-party data manipulation tools such as Inspector, Dataloader.io, and WorkbenchExperience using business intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, QlikView)Active user of Salesforce TrailheadsWhat to Expect at WorkPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
