Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday with required on-call duties.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular PreOperative unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction during the preoperative phase.

Responsibilities

• Perform large-bore IV starts, skin assessments, and medication administration.
• Assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin preparation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication within the interdepartmental team.
• Work independently while managing patient care in accordance with clinical standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have critical care experience; preoperative experience is a plus.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
