Job Description

The CV PreOp unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will have critical care experience, with preoperative experience being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform skin assessments.
• Assist with large-bore IV starts, arterial lines, central lines, and epidural placements.
• Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep.
• Maintain excellent communication with the interdepartmental team.
• Document patient care effectively using the Cerner system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Critical care experience is a must; preoperative experience is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
