Medical Laboratory Technician

Perform clinical laboratory testing that aids the physician in the crucial role of detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases. Demonstrate the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position. Operate applicable office equipment and telephones. Effectively interact interdepartmentally with the public. Maintain confidentiality and think and act independently with minimal supervision. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location. Demonstrate a general knowledge of standard medical laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety precautions. Display high-level organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and critically think. Must have legible handwriting.
