Locums Pediatric/Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery NP/PA - Tampa, Florida (Compact License Accepted) Availability

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Call: Approximately 15 days per month, including weekends
Call Type: Beeper
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Call Ratio: 1:2

Required Licenses & Certifications

Board Certified NP or PA (Required)
Active Florida License or Compact License (Accepted)
ACLS Certification
PALS Certification
RNFA Certification (Required for APRNs only)
Minimum 3 years of post-training experience in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery (Required)

Specialty: Pediatric & Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery

Setting: Inpatient & Operating Room
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Cerner

Clinical Responsibilities

Assist Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeons in both the operating room and clinical settings.
Provide care for pediatric cardiac surgery patients, including ICU management.
Round on assigned and unassigned patients.
Serve as a patient advocate and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.
Participate in scheduled clinical coverage and shared call responsibilities.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of post-training Pediatric Cardiac Surgery experience .
Experience caring for pediatric cardiac surgery patients across multiple care settings, including the ICU.
