Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is hiring dietary aides to join our friendly and dedicated culinary team! We've recently increased our wages and are excited to welcome new team members! Whether you're new to senior care or have experience, we provide hands-on training in a supportive environment where you can grow and thrive. As a dietary aide at Valley View Village, you'll assist with meal preparation, food service, and cleanup to help create a positive dining experience for our residents. Position type: Full-time

Shifts available: Days: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Location: 2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
