Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and IEP process
• Collaborative, team-minded, and open to interdisciplinary communication
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable adapting therapeutic approaches to diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to team eligibility determinations
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans in coordination with educators and families
• Document student progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in all required meetings
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student success and carryover in the classroom
• Stay current on best practices and legal compliance within a school setting
