Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity focused on providing exceptional physical therapy support within a school environment. This role begins in August 2026 and extends through mid-June 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm and a commitment of 35 hours per week. With a caseload of approximately 20 students across ten schools, you'll balance both direct therapy and consultative services, while also providing supervision to a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Valid Physical Therapy license and credentials appropriate for working in schools
• Prior experience in school-based settings or pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively serve students from PreK through 12th grade
• Comfortable managing a geographically spread caseload and collaborating across multiple school sites
• Experience supervising or mentoring therapy assistants a plus
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to students in small groups or individually
• Conduct consultative sessions with educational staff and families to support student progress
• Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and track progress across multiple settings
• Supervise, guide, and support a PTA to ensure high-quality care
• Maintain thorough records for compliance and effective team communication
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
