Responsibilities As part of the Subway® Team, as a Manager, you will focus on eight main responsibilities: Providing an excellent guest experience Ensuring that great food is prepared and served Keeping our restaurants functional, clean, and beautiful Managing inventory and money control systems Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach Recruiting staff Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security Being a team player Additional Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including adherence to local and national food safety codes Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is ready on every level for new marketing windows Planning special events and promotions Benefits / Opportunities Brand partnership discounts Scholarship opportunities Opportunity to earn university course credits Hands‑on career experience in a restaurant business Prerequisites Education : High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred. Experience : At least 2 years in a restaurant environment, with supervisory and training experience. Essential Functions Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential. Physical Requirements Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift weights up to 30 pounds occasionally. Training will be provided on roles and responsibilities.
