Principal Product Marketing Manager

You will help define differentiated positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for an evolving security market.
Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Technical Marketing, Growth Marketing, and executive stakeholders, you will connect product capabilities with customer needs.
You will serve as a market authority, monitoring cybersecurity trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities to strengthen market leadership.
The role also offers significant ownership across analyst relations, sales enablement, customer insights, product launches, and ideal customer profile development.
You will translate sophisticated cybersecurity concepts into compelling narratives that engage customers, prospects, analysts, and internal teams.
This position is ideal for a hands-on product marketing leader who combines technical understanding, commercial instinct, storytelling ability, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Accountabilities

• Contribute to and execute the product marketing strategy, developing differentiated positioning and messaging that evolves with market dynamics and product capabilities.
• Establish compelling narratives that communicate product value clearly and position the platform as a thought leader within the cybersecurity market.
• Partner closely with Product Management to bring technical expertise to customer conversations, roadmap discussions, positioning initiatives, and marketing programs.
• Monitor cybersecurity trends, competitive intelligence, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify market opportunities and strengthen competitive differentiation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and technical teams, refining value propositions and developing high-quality sales enablement assets, training materials, sales plays, partner content, and objection-handling resources.
• Contribute to the Analyst Relations strategy by collaborating with product and executive leadership to establish a compelling market vision and strengthen recognition among industry analysts.
• Help define and refine ideal customer profiles, personas, and core differentiators using customer insights and market data.
• Enable Growth, SDR, and Sales teams to align their targeting, messaging, and commercial activities around clearly defined customer segments.
• Own the execution of product launch strategies, coordinating timelines, stakeholders, messaging, enablement, and communications to support successful go-to-market outcomes.
• Serve as a product evangelist, delivering engaging presentations and storytelling that make complex cybersecurity capabilities easy to understand.
• Work cross-functionally to drive alignment and ensure marketing initiatives support broader business and growth objectives.
• Identify challenges proactively, recommend solutions, and help teams navigate the demands of a rapidly evolving and highly competitive cybersecurity market.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in B2B cybersecurity software product marketing .
• Deep understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, with expertise in areas such as automated penetration testing, Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS), EDR/XDR, SIEM, risk-based vulnerability management, or vulnerability management .
• Demonstrated progression throughout your career and a track record of successfully managing strategic product marketing initiatives.
• Strong experience partnering with Product Management to develop positioning and messaging that resonates with target markets and customers.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Sales leadership and technical teams to translate product differentiators into effective sales enablement and commercial resources.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into simple, compelling, and customer-focused narratives.
• Experience creating comprehensive long-form content and delivering engaging presentations to customers, prospects, sales teams, and other audiences.
• Strong ability to motivate and enable commercial teams around product launches, new capabilities, and market opportunities.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, inquisitive, and hands-on approach, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in a high-stakes, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong market awareness and curiosity, with the ability to identify competitive shifts and emerging trends and turn them into actionable marketing opportunities.
• Experience in technical or customer-facing roles, such as systems engineering, technical support, incident response, or similar functions, is highly desirable.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without relying solely on formal authority.
• High level of integrity, sound judgment, and alignment with professional and ethical standards.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
