Job Overview Restaurant Leader – Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® Location: 5901 Mills Civic Pkwy #7000, West Des Moines, IA 50266 Job Type: Full Time, Restaurant Management Job Details Posted: 07/22/2026 Job ID: 744000138142839 Responsibilities Ensure overall financial success of the restaurant, including forecasting and budgeting. Maintain overall restaurant compliance to company standards, policies and laws. Hire, terminate and manage payroll for management‑level crew members. Create and manage crew member work and training schedules. Develop and coach management‑level crew members, including performance management. Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant and managing cash handling. Monitor profit and loss statements, develop and execute strategy to improve financial and operational performance. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards. Use required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution and document results. Deploy and support crew members during shifts, providing exemplary customer service. Utilize reward and recognition program for crew members. Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, time‑clock overrides). Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in good working order. Achieve and maintain training restaurant status and “meets expectations” or better metrics in all crew and operations performance metrics. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience. Experience with new restaurant openings and local marketing preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred. Valid driver’s license. Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple shifting priorities. Self‑driven, flexible, highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Problem‑solving skills: identify problems, set goals, create and execute plans. Capacity to measure performance subjectively and objectively with high emotional intelligence. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick learning of new systems. Availability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and travel for training. Professional public demeanor, consistent with Raising Cane’s policies, acting as brand ambassador. Must be 18 years of age or older.
