Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant jobs in Cahokia, IL public schools let you support K-12 students by providing occupational therapy services under the direction of a registered occupational therapist. You will help students with sensory strategies, fine and gross motor activities, executive functioning, and assistive technology access as related to IEP goals. Required Qualifications Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, School OTA-IL References: 1 Reference in entire work history Completion of an associate's degree or higher education Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Illinois (Some States) Completion of the Substantial Equivalency Assessment (SEA) Preferred Qualifications Clear, articulate communication skills Ability to explain results to a varied audience Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
