Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Analyze test results for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in collecting specimens and preparing samples for testing when needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, offer training to new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree; preparation for ASCP/AMT certification is preferred.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of starting the position.
• Stay current with certifications throughout your employment with us.
