Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Alburtis, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal officer, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic technology location, helping to discourage security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming experience for employees and visitors. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to site needs with strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
- Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, assisting with visitor direction, and following post orders related to property protection and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
