Job Title : Lead Cloud Engineer

Location : Houston, TX

Job Description: Architects and manage the Azure cloud infrastructure for end user device management like hardware, Operating Systems, patching in adherence to regulatory standards, enhancing trust, data privacy and integrity. Ensure consistent, secure, reliable, resilient cloud services are available across Chevron globally focusing on application modernization, driving innovation, reducing cost, in the most optimal cloud-based solution for the company, and the vision is aligned with business objectives and the strategic intent.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a cloud solution expert during engagement with stakeholders.
• Facilitates demonstrations of cloud architecture principles, patterns, best practices by working with Chevron Cloud peers.
• Lead the design and implement end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Azure services in a secure manner, tailored to the oil and gas industry with limited guidance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Administer Intune End Point Management to configure/deploy policies based on security standards.
• Design, Develop, Implement, Test and maintain cloud native solutions, using Azure functions, Azure Databricks, CI/CD pipelines and technical documentation.
• Lead the integration of various systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability with an emphasis on automation.
• Develop Standard and custom reports for customer analysis and metrics from various data sources.
• Work with technical teams to coordinate and communicate status, technical requirements, project priorities, operational impacts.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of prior experience in cloud computing and architecture.
• Expert knowledge on Azure platform
• Technical depth and breadth supporting large-scale workstation infrastructure using Microsoft technologies (Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Graph APIs, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Azure devops(Repos, Pipelines, Azure functions), Azure VM)
• Skilled in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using a wide stack of Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Microsoft development platforms (Power Automate, PowerApps etc.). including others.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong experience in Ansible.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration


skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Intune supports diverse enterprise environments.
• Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Familiar with AI/ML integration frameworks

1. Has a breath of knowledge Azure and Hybrid infrastructure/hardware. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in


1. Cloud fundamentals: Skilled Level of Azure Basics, DevOps Environment


2. Directory Services: Skilled level of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra


3. Hosting platforms: Skilled level for Azure


4. Scripting and automation: Minimum Fundamental skill level and Proficient in


one or more of the following: Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python


5. Storage platforms: Skilled level for Azure Storage (blob, file, disk), Azure File Sync, Azure Data Lake


6. Structured technical problem solving and debugging


2. Amount of relevant working experience leading global team of cloud engineers overseeing cloud solution development and implementation


1. Experience with various architecture styles, design patterns and best practices for cloud solution development.


2. Experience evaluating technology options, and modern architecture trade-off analysis


3. Level of technical knowledge on key technologies.


1. Knowledge of API Protocols (REST, SOAP,)
