Medical Science Liaison – Neuroimmunology (Southern California Region) Location: Los Angeles, California, United States of America. Job Function: Medical Affairs Group; Job Sub Function: Medical Science Liaison; Job Category: People Leader. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain external relationships with identified KOLs and health care providers (MD, PA, NP, RN, Pharm.D., bio coordinators) and manage the geographical territory, prioritizing in‑person engagements when appropriate. Develop and maintain a territory strategic plan that includes educational activities with identified OLs, HCPs, institutions, and community practices. Stay abreast of current scientific and treatment trends in the therapeutic area of interest. Provide research support for company and investigator‑initiated research. Rapidly identify and collaborate with field‑based partners to support healthcare providers and positively impact patient care. Conduct all activities in accordance with current regulatory and health care compliance guidelines. Demonstrate strategic territory planning and the ability to build strong relationships within the territory. Consistently demonstrate strong scientific acumen. Apply competencies of influence & results focus, communication, stakeholder engagement, product & therapeutic area knowledge, and data insights & dissemination. Enhance agility and apply competencies of change management, time management, and innovation. Continuously support department operations and internal partners. Travel primarily throughout the assigned geography (approximately 60% of the time) with infrequent travel outside of the assigned geography, including overnight and weekend travel. Qualifications PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA. Minimum 2 years of relevant neurology, immunology and/or neuromuscular experience. 0–2 years of MSL experience, and/or 2 years of clinical or research experience, and/or related pharmaceutical work. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, including overnight and weekend travel. Preferred: launch experience in rare disease.
