Site Superintendent (Healthcare Interiors)

Build the Future of Healthcare Spaces. Join Liberty Construction as a Site Superintendent. Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year, plus a year-end performance bonus. Liberty Construction is a family-owned general contractor specializing in healthcare interior build-outs across the DMV region. We are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to own daily field operations and deliver high-quality projects on tight timelines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will run the job site on healthcare interior fit-out projects ranging from $300K to $1M, typically completed in 90 to 120 days. You are the person on the ground: you set the daily schedule, hold subcontractors accountable, protect quality and safety, and keep the project moving from mobilization through punch list closeout. You will work directly with the Project Manager, architects, and owners.

HOW WE RUN OUR JOB SITES

Liberty is a technology-forward contractor and our field teams work that way every day. Every employee is issued a company iPad, and all project documentation and communication runs through Procore and Gmail: daily logs, site photos, current drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, inspections, and punch lists. Nothing important lives in a text thread or a paper set on a plan table. If you already run your site from a tablet, you will move fast here. If you are not there yet but want to be, we will train you. What we ask is that you are genuinely comfortable with technology and willing to document your work daily.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own day-to-day field operations on active job sites Build and drive the daily and weekly schedule, sequencing trades to hold critical milestones Coordinate subcontractors and hold them accountable to scope, schedule, and quality Run layout, coordinate inspections, and manage the permit inspection process Track and resolve RFIs, change orders, and punch list items in Procore Maintain daily logs, site photos, and project documentation in Procore from your company iPad Manage material deliveries and site logistics Conduct quality control checks and enforce high-end finish standards Own job site safety and compliance, including toolbox talks and PPE enforcement Lead punch list and final closeout with the owner and design team Communicate clearly with Project Managers, architects, owners, and trades

QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience as a site superintendent on commercial or healthcare construction projects Commercial interior fit-out experience required. Healthcare or GovCon experience is a strong plus. Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software (PlanGrid, Fieldwire, BuilderTrend) Comfortable working from an iPad and running a job site digitally OSHA 10 certification required. OSHA 30 is a plus. Strong communication skills, including writing professional emails Must live in the DMV (Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia) Preferred: First Aid/CPR, Assisted Living or senior care facility experience, SBE project work

TRANSPORTATION

You must have a valid driver's license and provide your own reliable vehicle to get to and from job sites across the DMV. Liberty pays a monthly fuel and mileage stipend for job site travel. Company vehicles are provided at the Senior Superintendent level, which is the next step up from this role.

SCHEDULE AND WORK SETUP

Full-time Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM On-site, projects across the DMV region within one hour of our Rockville, MD office No overnight travel
