Responsibilities of a CNA : Recording vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements as needed Checking patient vital signs each day and keeping precise records in the patient's chart Qualifications for a CNA : Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required. Clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of practice required.
