Director, Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading talent strategy and strategic HR initiatives for multiple functional groups within the Home Office. This role operates as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior leaders in areas of business strategy and alignment, org design and effectiveness, leadership development, and change management. Responsibilities Leadership Lead a group of HR professionals responsible for handling and executing functional talent strategy and providing HR solutions to support day to day people and organizational challenges Business & Functional Strategy Influence Provide thought leadership to respective functional leaders on departmental and talent initiatives that will deliver the brand vision and business growth goalsProvide strategic advice, and influence to functional and department leaders on people initiatives, programs and strategy programs like Annual Compensation Review, Quarterly Connects, Organizational Leadership Review, and Learning & DevelopmentPartner, influence and provide guidance to functional leaders to properly react to business initiatives and changes in the macro and micro environments through effective org analysis and design Talent Strategy & Leadership Development Partner with senior leaders to build development plans and identify systemic leadership strengths and gaps for Director and above to support future succession and leader capability buildingLead the execution of talent strategy planning through assessments exercises in risk, succession, performance management and hiring to identify gaps in talent health and identify proactive solutions and actions Culture, Change & Engagement Champion culture and engagement through creation and execution of engagement initiatives like the Associate Opinion survey and identifying the specific actions and needs of each function to create tailored plans and actionsFacilitate and support change management Qualifications 8+ years of proven experience as a Senior People Leader in a Human Resources function, having driven People programs in a rapidly growing companyExperience working in a retail environment a plus, but not requiredKnowledge and expertise in employment laws and regulationAbility to handle and lead HR teams across multiple business units, buildings and geographic marketsProficient and up to date in current HR technology, systems and analyticsExcellent strategic thinking and decision making skillsExpertise providing executive coaching and counsel to senior leadersExceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to navigate crucial conversations, influence and drive insights using curiosity, strategic thinking and leadership versatilityProficiency in HR technology and analytics Education Bachelor's Degree required Core Competencies Lead with Curiosity & HumilityBuild High Performing Teams for Today & TomorrowInfluence & Inspire with Vision & PurposeObserve, Engage & ConnectStrive to Achieve Operational ExcellenceDeliver Business Results Benefits Bath & Body Works associates are the heart of our business.
