This contract-based opportunity takes place within a welcoming elementary school setting in the Oregon, IL area, running from February until the end of May. What You Bring:

• Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience or strong interest in working in a school-based setting
• Ability to engage with elementary-age students and adapt to their individual needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Flexibility to assist on-site and support a lead SLP returning mid-semester
• Commitment to following required school and district onboarding procedures (including possible fingerprinting requirements)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based SLP services to students at one elementary school, focusing on communication skill development
• Work with a dynamic school team and provide short-term support during a transition period
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student success
• Complete necessary assessments, progress notes, and documentation in a timely manner
• Adapt service delivery as the SLP lead returns later in the semester
