Dickey Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Manual Mill Machinist for a client in Machesney Park, IL. This position is responsible for setting up and operating manual milling machines to machine precision parts according to blueprint specifications and quality standards.

• Set up and operate manual milling machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings
• Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot machining issues
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Deburr and finish machined parts as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work independently and complete jobs in a timely manner

Requirements:

• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OPERATING MANUAL MILLING MACHINES REQUIRED
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to hold close tolerances
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
