Location: Remote (El Paso, TX)

Pay Rate: Starting at $17.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Overtime: Available as needed

Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a Member Advocate I to support member services, advocacy, and compliance initiatives. This is a permanently remote , weekday opportunity offering long-term stability, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact by improving access to care for members.

Responsibilities

* Advocate for members by coordinating with providers and health plan partners to ensure access to appropriate care

* Receive, investigate, and resolve member complaints and formal grievances in accordance with established procedures

* Identify and address access, cultural sensitivity, and systemic issues impacting member care

* Conduct outbound outreach calls to members; no inbound call queue

* Utilize TruCare and OMNI systems to document cases and track follow-ups

* Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

* Participate in community organizations and advocacy groups to stay informed on member needs and update educational materials

* Serve as a primary point of contact for advocacy groups, human services agencies, and state entities

* Collaborate with assigned buddy partner and team members to resolve complex cases

* Attend scheduled virtual team meetings, trainings, and monthly performance reviews via Microsoft Teams

* Report onsite as needed for system issues or team support

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED (required)

* Community Health Worker (CHW) certification required

* Minimum 2-3 years of healthcare-related customer service experience (Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred)

* Call center experience in a healthcare environment preferred

* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

* Experience navigating multiple systems and performing consistent outreach

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
