Key Responsibilities for the Senior Fixed Assets Accountant:

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records for fleet, equipment, rental assets, and other capital assets.
Review asset additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and related general ledger activity.
Clean up legacy asset data and support fixed asset system implementation efforts.
Partner with operations and fleet teams to resolve discrepancies and improve asset tracking.
Support month-end close, fixed asset reporting, audit requests, and accounting projects.
Assist with process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancements.

Qualifications for the Senior Fixed Assets Accountant:

5+ years of accounting experience with significant fixed asset or asset-intensive accounting exposure.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with ERP systems and fixed asset or fleet management software.
Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and reconciliations.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large data-set analysis.
Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
