Job Description We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric CICU to join a highly specialized team providing care to critically ill pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions and post-surgical needs in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Job Responsibilities: Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, focusing on critically ill pediatric cardiac patients Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, family-centered care plans Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient environment Participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvements Incorporate patient and family education into all aspects of care Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Associate Degree required; BSN enrollment within 6 months and completion within 24 months Minimum 1 year recent Pediatric ICU experience in an acute care setting CCRN preferred Unit Highlights: Pediatric patients (1 year and older) 14-bed unit Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1 Brand new program with 50–70 cases in the first year 18-week paid training/orientation (includes training at Medical City Dallas & Woman’s Hospital – travel, room & board covered) Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $42.03 – $65.10/hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Case by case Relocation Assistance: Case by case Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment assistance, life and disability coverage, and an employee stock purchase program. #J-18808-Ljbffr
