We also fuel your ambition with tuition reimbursement, support for professional certifications, and a wellness reimbursement program.# # If you’re ready to make an impact with a stable industry leader, we want to hear from you.**Your Next Career Opportunity – Senior Paralegal, Mergers & Acquisitions (Real Estate)** Responsible for the coordination of real estate transactions, due diligence, closing and post-closing activities related to M&A transactions. **What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities*** Prepare (or assist in the preparation of) real estate transactions related to M&A contracts, title clearing instruments and closing documents, such as M&A contracts or transfer documents.* Review and analyze ground and tenant leases and contracts in connection with estoppel preparation in order to identify possible issues within the specific terms.* Review, analyze and organize due diligence.* Maintain the deal tracker with up to date statuses.* Correspond with third party vendors to obtain additional information.* Follow up with various sellers, ground lessors, tenants, vendors, customers and outside counsel on a variety of legal matters.* Coordinate dissemination of documents to various departments within SBA.* Preparation of letters, memos, and reports.* Maintain transaction files by ensuring items are filed correctly in the online data folders and ensure files are complete.* Frequently communicate and collaborate with Senior Management, as needed, in order to accomplish tasks.* Other projects and duties as assigned.**What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements*** Language requirements: English (required), Spanish (preferred)* Associate's Degree Bachelor's degree preferred; + and 5-10 years of real estate paralegal experience. + Previous experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) preferred. + Previous telecommunications and supervisory experience is a plus.* Certified Paralegal (or equivalent) required.**Physical Demands:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
