What You'll Do as a CNC Programmer/Machinist:
- Precision Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs utilizing Mastercam and Surfcam .
- Multiaxis Milling: Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills .
- Lathe Operations: Set up and operate CNC lathes (experience with live tooling is a major plus!).
- Technical Interpretation: Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.
- Strategy & Setup: Independently select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding for diverse materials.
- Pay Rate: $28.00 - $40.00/hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Opportunities for Overtime available!)
- Coding Proficiency: Fully understand and apply M & G code programming.
- Software Mastery: Proven experience with Mastercam or Surfcam programming software.
- Aerospace Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
- Independence: Ability to develop complete programs from scratch, including toolpath strategy.
