Instrumentation & Controls EngineerAEEC is currently seeking a Full-time Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support our customer's facility control systems in the western states. The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer has demonstrated experience in programming, testing, and maintaining SCADA and control systems, including networking, software, security methods, field construction oversight, and cloud integrations. The SCADA Instrumentation & Controls Engineer has demonstrated the ability to communicate with various stakeholders through documentation and collaboration. This is a Hybrid work position but travel will be required to Colorado, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.Responsibilities:Programming and Computing Programming for SCADA and automation projectsProgram and configure HMIs, RTUs, PLCs, or other systemsCloud data integration connections including IoT gateways, sensors, API connectors, and other methods.Networking and security for control systemsTesting and Commissioning Create test plans, procedures, and reports.Perform Factory Testing, Field Testing, and commissioning.Field Work and Oversight Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics for implementation or installation oversightControl system startup and commissioningUse of testing and diagnostic toolsDesign and Engineering Controls narrative documentationTechnical reviews along with QA/QCSystem factory testingNetworking and security design for control systemsTools / Software:Computer networksSCADA software: Geo SCADA, Virtual View-x Wonderware, Factory talkRTU/PLC: Remote Connect, Telepace Studio, Control Logix, Siemens SimaticSCADA and device data connections to the cloudEducation:Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience (5+ years)Citizenship:US citizenship is not required for this role, but must be located in the United States.
