• A tailored Virtual Family Office (VFO) based in Atlanta, GA is assembling a core team of 4 to 6 fractional experts. The VFO actively oversees a $40M+ real estate portfolio alongside a concentrated, dividend-generating equity portfolio with active family participation. Operational focus centers on mitigating non-qualified dividend drag, managing complex real estate depreciation and K-1s, and structuring multi-generational estate vehicles.

Open Fractional Roles & Requirements:

Lead Advisor / Fractional CFO (Est. 50 – 60 hrs/year)

\n

\n
• Serves as the central clearinghouse for all family assets and operations.
\n
• Leads entity structuring, family governance, and multi-asset aggregation.
\n
• Coordinates quarterly family meetings and manages cash flow distributions between real estate and equity buckets.
\n

\n

Tax Strategist (CPA) (Est. 30 – 40 hrs/year)

\n

\n
• Drives proactive tax planning and dividend optimization.
\n
• Executes 1031 exchanges, manages Georgia state filings, multi-state real estate filings, and K-1 reporting.

• Mitigates dividend drag under high tax brackets.
\n

Estate & Legal Counsel (Est. 20 - 30 hrs/year)

• Drafts and maintains asset protection structures and multi-generational trusts.

• Handles ongoing trust administration and annual family gifting strategies.
\n
• Provides legal oversight for asset transfers and succession.
\n

Investment Portfolio Advisor (Est. 30 – 40 hrs/year)

• Manages equity tracking and cost-basis optimization for concentrated equity holdings.

• Conducts risk overlay assessments and portfolio alignment relative to real estate exposures.

• Delivers performance attribution and risk analysis.

Candidate Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years advising UHNW families or direct experience within single/multi-family office structures.Credentials: Active CPA, JD, or CFA professional designations required where applicable to the specialty.

• Jurisdiction: Deep familiarity with Georgia state tax codes, real estate regulations, and Atlanta legal/estate practices.
\n
• Virtual Model: Proven track record collaborating within integrated, multi-disciplinary virtual advisory teams.
