JOB SUMMARY Are you ready to lead the charge on innovative engineering and design projects that shape our community? We're on the lookout for an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team and drive our civil engineering projects and initiatives from concept to completion. RESPONSIBILITIES Project Management Lead and oversee all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, execution, and close-out. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Identify potential risks and challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them. Maintain accurate records of project activities and prepare regular progress reports. Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance and oversight to project teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, codes, and regulations. Create detailed site layouts for land development projects, ensuring optimal use of space and functionality. Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications. Team Management Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets project milestones and deliverables. Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback. Quality Assurance Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance with design specifications. Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Business Development Support business development activities by preparing proposals, presentations and cost estimates for potential projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Identify and pursue opportunities for new business and project expansion. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of engineering experience within the civil design industry with a focus on land development and a proven track record of leading and managing complex projects. Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Skills: Proven experience managing complex engineering projects. Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management. Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards. Experience with risk management, budgeting, and cost control techniques. Strong knowledge of engineering design software including in AutoCAD, Civil 3D. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Works well within a team environment.
