About This Role The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: North Bergen, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You’ll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Requirements Education BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
