Production Planner
Location: Simi Valley, CA

Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 DOE

 

We're partnering with a leading aerospace and precision manufacturing company in Simi Valley that is looking for an experienced Production Planner II to join their Supply Chain team.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, release, and prioritize production orders to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Coordinate manufacturing operations and outside processing activities.
• Monitor job status, identify production bottlenecks, and drive timely resolutions
• Maintain accurate MRP data and production schedules
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Production Control, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Review production demand and capacity with management to support on-time delivery goals.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 3+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP methodologies and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
