Actalent is hiring for a Manufacturing Associate in the Thousand Oaks area!

• Standard: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Training may require earlier start (4:00–5:00 AM)
• Flexibility required for earlier shifts, weekends, or potential swing/grave shifts based on production needs

About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support production operations with a focus on manual visual inspection and packaging of finished units. This role is critical to ensuring product quality and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Conduct manual visual inspection of product and support packaging of approved units
• Operate and monitor processing equipment used in production
• Identify process anomalies and escalate issues as needed
• Support adherence to production schedules and operational timelines
• Review, revise, and audit production documentation
• Accurately complete and maintain records within systems such as:
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Electronic Batch Records (EBR)
  • SAP or similar systems
• Communicate production issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them
• Build effective working relationships across teams and departments
• Maintain compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements
• Support flexible scheduling needs, including early shifts or weekend work

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn manufacturing systems
• Ability to interpret and follow procedures and regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Consistent attendance, reliability, and adaptability
• Ability to pass a vision exam, including color differentiation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with manual visual inspection in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with SAP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Experience with electronic batch record systems (e.g., PAS-X or similar)
• General understanding of bioprocessing or drug product manufacturing
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based, professional environment

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite position in a regulated manufacturing environment requiring adherence to strict quality, safety, and compliance standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Thousand Oaks,CA.
