Registered Nurse - Med/Surg / Telemetry

Schedule
Shift: Nights 18:45-07:15
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Active RN license
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, Telemetry experience/certification
- Documentation system: Epic (preferred)
- Medication system: Pyxis

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with med/surg and telemetry diagnoses.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Manage vascular access, including IV starts and central line care.
- Support respiratory functions such as BiPAP/CPAP and oxygen therapy.
- Perform post-procedure care and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- RTO: Auto-approve up to 7 days (no RTO during the first week; must work 2 of 3 major holidays)
- Fatigue policy: No more than 5 days in a row and/or 60 hours/week
