IT Manager / Junior Salesforce Administrator

IT Manager / Junior Salesforce Administrator Location: NYC/Elmsford Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager / Junior Salesforce Administrator to support the organization’s technology environment, business applications, and day-to-day IT operations. This position combines general IT management responsibilities with entry-level Salesforce administration and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving processes, and supporting users across multiple systems. The individual will serve as a primary point of contact for internal technology needs while assisting with the maintenance and continued development of the Salesforce platform. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance user support, system administration, vendor coordination, and project work. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day IT operations and provide technical support to employees across the organization. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, account access, and business application issues. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including user accounts, system access, equipment preparation, and permission removal. Administer Microsoft 365, email, collaboration tools, phone systems, and other internal technology platforms. Maintain an accurate inventory of computers, peripherals, software licenses, and other company technology assets. Work with third-party vendors and managed service providers to resolve technical issues and support larger infrastructure initiatives. Document technical procedures, system configurations, recurring issues, and user support instructions. Support technology-related projects, system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and process improvements. Provide Salesforce user support and troubleshoot issues related to access, records, reports, dashboards, and system functionality. Create and maintain Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, roles, queues, public groups, and other access settings. Assist with the configuration of custom fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, list views, reports, dashboards, and basic automation. Help test Salesforce enhancements and system changes before they are released to users. Support data quality initiatives, including imports, updates, duplicate management, data cleanup, and routine audits. Qualifications Experience providing technical support or administering business technology systems in a professional environment. Foundational knowledge of Salesforce administration, either through professional experience, formal training, certification coursework, or hands‑on practice. Understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, security, reporting, dashboards, and automation concepts. Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and common workplace technology tools. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and communicate solutions clearly to non‑technical users. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage support requests, administrative responsibilities, and project deadlines. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, leadership, vendors, and technical partners. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Flow, Data Loader, reports, dashboards, and permission management. Experience supporting a customer relationship management system, applicant tracking system, or other business operations platform. Familiarity with identity and access management, endpoint management, cybersecurity practices, and IT asset management. Experience participating in software implementation, system integration, data migration, or process improvement projects. Basic understanding of Salesforce development concepts, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and integrations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Madison-Davis, LLC
