School Assignments: Multiple elementary schools within the district possible

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

As a School-Based SLP, you will:

Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Complete documentation, progress reports, and therapy notes
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff
Support students with a variety of communication disorders impacting academic performance
Manage a caseload across one or more elementary school sites
Qualifications
Required
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
Eligible to work in a school setting
Ability to complete district onboarding and fingerprinting requirements
Preferred
Prior school-based SLP experience
Experience serving elementary students
Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
