Are you an experienced CPA looking for more ownership, stronger career growth, and a clear opportunity to advance toward partnership? The Reserves Network has partnered with an established CPA firm in Lincoln, Nebraska seeking a CPA ready to take ownership of client relationships and play an important role in the firm's continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional who wants to move beyond simply managing engagements. You'll develop and manage your own client portfolio, mentor staff, work directly with firm leadership, and have a track to partnership for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

Manage and grow a portfolio of clients
Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and other clients
Provide tax and accounting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, nonprofits, estates, and trusts
Plan, prepare, and review tax returns
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
Provide accounting, consulting, and other non-attest services
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting and financial matters
Supervise and mentor staff while helping develop future leaders
Collaborate with firm leadership on client service and growth initiatives

Qualifications

Active CPA license required
3-5+ years of audit and/or tax experience in public accounting
Proven ability to manage client relationships and multiple engagements
Strong project management and supervisory experience
Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
Ability to communicate complex accounting and financial concepts effectively
Desire to take ownership of client relationships and develop into a larger leadership role
Interest in a long-term partner-track opportunity
Farm and agricultural tax experience is a plus, but not required
