IT Desktop Support Technician

Salary: $87,000 - 111,000 per year Requirements:

• Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
• Advanced English-language proficiency
• Strong time-management, prioritization, organization, and planning skills, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter who can work collaboratively in a team and motivate others
• Familiarity with Active Directory administration, cloud applications such as Box and Office 365, Cisco VPN troubleshooting, antivirus threat remediation, remote connections, deployment servers, and asset lifecycle management
• Experience or familiarity with browser support, Adobe products, Check Point endpoint client software, printer and driver troubleshooting, IP telephony, ServiceNow, hardware ordering and inventory, and Mac OS and hardware support
• Desired: Hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and support experience; basic smart-hands or network configuration knowledge; experience with imaging and deployment servers; and basic knowledge management skills

• Provide in-person and remote technical assistance for service requests and incidents involving computer systems, software, hardware, and infrastructure
• Diagnose, resolve, or route tickets according to documented processes, using internal training, prior knowledge, and informed judgment
• Install, configure, and support hardware, software, endpoint clients, printers, browsers, and standard IP telephony devices
• Manage device imaging and deployment using USB or PXE servers, and support equipment moves, disconnects, and reconnects
• Maintain documentation and records, manage assets, and assist with hardware inventory, procurement, and the receiving and shipping of IT goods
• Support employee onboarding and training, conference rooms, meetings, customer scheduling and follow-ups, and vendor engagement as needed
• Collaborate with media, corporate events, IT, and other teams to test, monitor, analyze, diagnose, and resolve technology, performance, and process issues
• Troubleshoot meeting-room audio and display equipment and direct issues to the appropriate team or assignment group
• Perform smart-hands and infrastructure tasks, including patching cross-connects and cables, installing or moving IT equipment, and rack, stack, and cabling work with vendors or network teams
• Reboot remote servers and physical server or network equipment, power-cycle IT equipment, and install or remove supported hardware components
• Provide onsite and offsite technical assistance, troubleshooting, and remote console access; escort IT vendors where permitted
• Handle all business matters discreetly and maintain confidentiality
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
