Travel School Psych - Pontotoc, Mississippi

An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting. This position involves travel to support students and educators in various educational environments, focusing on promoting students' academic, emotional, and social development.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
• Provide counseling and support to students to address behavioral, emotional, and social issues.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure integrated support for students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in conducting psychological assessments and developing IEPs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education.
• Ability to travel as required to different school locations within the region.
