Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related field
• Current teaching licensure with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility)
• Past experience delivering instruction in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings
• Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
• Adaptable, creative, and committed to providing differentiated instruction for varying abilities

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) according to federal and state guidelines
• Create supportive, structured classroom environments where all learners feel valued
• Modify curriculum to accommodate specific learning differences and foster engagement
• Collect and analyze data on student progress, reporting findings and adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Provide behavioral and academic interventions, utilizing evidence-based strategies
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities as needed
