RO Forklift Driver - 1st Shift

Staging Forklift Driver

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Hourly

1st Shift

Hours: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm

Overtime is required based on production needs.

Pay: $17.00/hour

Stage ingredients for production by performing the following duties:

• Reads next day production schedule to determine ingredients to be gathered.
• Weighs or counts ingredients and places the ingredients on pallets according to production paperwork.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Completes forklift checklist in computer.
• Replaces liquefied gas tank.
• Assists with warehouse cleaning.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.
• Assist on wet or dry side of staging as needed.
• Print labels for staging as needed.

Language Skills Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer.
